Bio

Kecia B is a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP) who plays live therapeutic music bedside to patients in hospitals, Cancer Centers and Hospice patients.

 

She has been composing soulfull and introspective piano instrumentals for over 20 years. Kecia's CDs Odyssey and Twilight Moon are available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and other streaming platforms.

Kecia B admires the talents of pianists Brian Culbertson, Keiko Matsui and George Winston to name a few. Most often, Kecia's style has been compared to George Winston and Jim Brickman.

CMP/Therapeutic Musician:  I am certified to observe patients and choose the correct music style to play/sing for the patient's condition - whether it's for pain, lowering blood pressure, or helping tranisition.

 

Pop Oldies: I play a mix of pop oldies from 1960's up to current. My current audiences range from assisted & independent living communities, memory care facilities, and private parties.

Originals: My original piano instrumentals are perfect for background music in hotels, cocktail parties, art shows, wineries or coffee shops.

Mixed: I can always mix my originals and pop songs for a well-rounded performance of pop vocals and relaxing instrumentals.​
